Sharon Gayle Curry Carter- Age 71, Went to her Heavenly home on April 14, 2019. She was born on March 20, 1948 in Nashville, TN to the late Marvin Andy Curry and Margaret Louise Hunter Curry.

Preceded in death by her sister, Linda Curry; brother, Mardy Curry.

Gayle is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 35 years, Timothy Alan Carter; children, Teresa Bales, Kris (Dwight) Starkey, Dana (Ricky) Lemay and Phillip Sharpe; grandchildren, Eric (Amanda), Danial, Amber (Rene), Brittany (Michael), Ashley (Shawn), Tyler (Amy), Curtis (Heather) Dakota, Luceela, Alex and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Landon, Layken, Noah, Dalton, Kyrstin, Addison, McKinley, Karleigh; sisters, Marie (James), Patricia, Beckie (Felipe); several nieces and nephews.

Gayle was a loving wife, mother, granny and sister. She loved talking about Jesus with everyone that she came in contact with. Gayle was a caring nurse for many years. She loved giving and donating to anyone who needed it.

Honorary pallbearers will be Landon, Noah, Dalton and McKinley. Active pallbearers will be Eric, Daniel, Alex, Jeremy, Tyler, Shawn and Andy.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, Thursday, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
