Sherry Ann Heath, age 69, of Fairview TN, passed away on January 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1948 to the late Malcom Lackey and Annie Faye Johnson Lackey in Nashville, TN.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Gerald Lee Heath Sr. She is also preceded in death by her sister Darlene Hart.
Mrs. Heath is survived by her children Gerald Lee Heath Jr., Sharon Lynn martin, Christopher Michael Heath, Lee Ann Skinner, Candace Martin, Raymond Martin, and Brittany Martin; Grandchildren, Christian Heath and Austin Skinner; and Great Grandchildren, Nathaniel Spence and Raelie Anderson; She is also survived by her sister Wilma Dean Robertson(James) and her brothers James Vernon Lackey(Jane) and Terry Lackey(Susan).
Mrs. Heath is described as having a heart of pure gold. She was able to be loving, caring, and funny while still being able to tell you how it was. "Nanny" adored not only her children but her grandbabies as well. She was always willing to do whatever she could for them. In the Spring you could probably find her working in her garden planting flowers, which attracted beautiful humming birds that she enjoyed to watch dearly. Her children remember her marriage as being "full of love".
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 11:00am at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, February 2, from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and on Saturday an hour prior to the service. After the service burial will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
