Siegfried Mueller was born May 21, 1941, in Eichendorf, Yugoslavia, son of Andreas and Katharina Müller. He passed away in Nashville, Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Mueller; daughter, Michelle Ormseth (Reid); granddaughter, Madeline Ormseth; sister, Frieda Groeger (Herbert); nephew, Herb Groeger (Regina) and niece, Monica Romines (John).
Siegried and his family immigrated to the United States in 1952 when he was 11 years old in the hope of a better life. He always believed that the United States was the land of opportunity, and the United States is where this young man, once plagued by polio, flourished. From his youth he always had jobs doing anything he could and from an early age his entrepreneurial talents were evident.
In 1964 he met his future wife, Joyce, at a dance in Dayton, Ohio. Not long after they married in 1965, he started his own business, Adena Tool Corporation in Dayton, with the help of his wife. Through painstaking work the company became a success and he frequently recalled the importance of trusted employees and colleagues.
He enjoyed many kinds of music. He played the accordion and guitar in his youth and won several talent competitions. He loved old time rock and roll and would reliably bust a move when the music was just right.
He always put his family first. He was home every night at 6pm with the precision of a clock. He boasted on his only daughter and cherished his wife. He and his wife moved to Nashville Tennessee to be close to his daughter and granddaughter. He was known for being generous, trustworthy and dependable. In his later years he frequently reflected on his gratitude for God’s blessings and work in his life and family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
