Skylar Bell

Miss Skylar Rose Bell passed peacefully in the arms of her parents, Steadman and Brittnea Bell on March 5, 2021. She was placed in our lives for a brief moment before returning to God as our guardian angel the same day. Skylar Rose, you will always be the greatest gift. Skylar is survived by a number of family and friends who loved her. Skylar gave us all a lifetime of love during her short time on earth.

I love you so much.

I miss you so much.

The first day I felt you move and saw your heartbeat was the best day of my life.

I never got to take you home. I never got to bounce you on my lap. I never got to read to you.

I will always wonder what your life would’ve been like. You slipped away so quickly - heaven couldn’t wait for you! You were here for a moment, but I will love you for a lifetime. I promise to speak about you every day, share my memories of you with friends and family, and your siblings will know everything about you! Until we meet again, I love you, baby girl.

I miss you and love you deeply

Although you were on this earth for just a short period of time, you left your love and grace that will last for a lifetime.

The impact you left not only on your mom and myself, but on an entire community is something we couldn’t ever imagine.

From your late night movements in moms womb and to your love for yogurt to help ease mommy’s tummy, or even to the Baby Mozart music that mom would play to put you asleep are things we will never forget.

We will continue to uplift your name, and share the world our story, & although to most people it may not seem as much, but to us you defeated the odds when you were delivered with a heartbeat to spend your precious moments with us. Your time here on earth, you were never alone, families from all over felt your love, and determined attempts to stay with us from the beginning and the end of your time here on earth.

To know that you were alive in my arms as the NICU Team placed you in my hands made me feel more at ease  knowing I was blessed to be there with you during the last moments. You will forever be our first born child, and you will be a role model for your baby brother or sister in the future. This is something that brings us great joy! You are in heaven now with grandparents who will be with you through it all, I ask that you hug your grandmother, your great grandmother and Papa C for me! I love you Skylar Rose Bell!
