Stacy Elizabeth (Moore) Tipping, age 46, of Dickson, Tennessee, passed away in the care of her family on August 12, 2024.
Stacy was a graduate of Hillwood High School and proudly furthered her education at Belmont University. Her commitment to helping others was evident in her daily life, as she consistently practiced the principle of "paying it forward" and touched the lives of many with her generosity and kindness.
A devoted fan of Alabama and Titan football, Stacy’s enthusiasm for the games mirrored her vibrant spirit. She also cherished her time by reading, enjoying the beach, and spending time with her family. Known for her strength, intelligence, and beautiful blue eyes, Stacy’s chipper personality and radiant presence brightened the lives of those around her.
Our beloved Stacy had many nicknames given to her by her loving family over the years...When her mother and grandmother needed her attention, she was "Stacy Mae!" Her father lovingly called her "Bucky." She was "Stick" in the eyes of her big brother. She was "Beavis" to her Auntie Pauletta's "Butthead." Her Maw Maw loved calling her "Muffin." And as for her loving husband, she was and forever will be "Baby," while their wonderful son, Michael, called her "Mopsy" at a very early age, a name that will continue to hold a special place in his heart.
Stacy found joy in her numerous trips to Orange Beach, Alabama, where she created lasting memories with her family. Her family also enjoyed visits to Tunica, Mississippi, and traveled across the country to explore historical sites—a passion that resonated deeply with Michael.
Stacy was a strong supporter of her son’s interests, from his enthusiasm for WWE and swimming to his fascination with history. Her unwavering encouragement and love will be remembered throughout his bright future.
Stacy, known for her unapologetic and endearing pride in her culinary shortcomings, loved the simple pleasures in life like taking a nap when the opportunity presented itself. She also loved the color purple and Tweety Bird, a passion beautifully reflected in her many collectibles. She was known to be a “Daddy’s girl”...except whenever she was sick, she always needed her Mom by her side. Her family feels that the unexpected passing of her Dad, six months prior, was part of a greater plan because it seemed impossible that he could endure the pain of losing her. Her role will never be replaced, but always remembered as “best friend” to her husband, mom, and brother.
Stacy was an Insurance Professional with CIC Designation that she worked very hard to obtain. She loved the insurance industry and did her job with pride and dedication. Her incredible work family at Morrison & Fuson Insurance Agency always supported her and she was never happier to be a part of such a great team. She loved her clients just as much and built lasting friendships with many of them.
Stacy Elizabeth Tipping is peacefully reunited in heaven with her father, William “PeeWee” Moore, Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving Mother, Jana Talley Moore; caring husband of twenty years, Jesse William D. Tipping; beloved son, Michael William Peyton Tipping; brother, William “Bubba” Moore III; mother-in-law, Melodie Felts Tipping; aunts, Pauletta “Auntie” Groves and Debra Ann (Larry) Baker; uncle, Harold Dean (Nancy) Moore; cousins, Michelle (Troy) Huff, Chad Baker, Brian (Candy) Baker, Adam (Lauren) Moore, Shannon (Calvin) McMillan, and John (Amy) Moore, and her precious cat, Blackberry who will be lovingly cared for by her son, Michael.
Stacy loved life and if you listen closely, you can hear her singing "I'm gonna soak up the sun, I'm gonna tell everyone to lighten up"...or possibly screaming "Roll Tide!!!," as her entire Family smiles and joins in while her husband, the only Vols fan, just shakes his head.
"Love you Moore, sweet angel."
