Stella Jennette Waters

Mrs. Stella Jennette Waters age 89, of Centerville, Tennessee. passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford on February 11, 2022.

Stella was born at Grandberry Farm in Brentwood, Tennessee, on October 15, 1932, to the late Porter Jennette and Cora Pauline Lynn Jennette. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Edward Waters, Jr. and daughter, Celesa Zee Waters.

Survivors include her son, Glenn Edward Waters, III and four grandchildren, Cora Jennette "Waters" Gattis, son in law Kris Gattis, Karah Arianna Waters, Charis Annaleigha Waters and Grantley Edward Waters, daughter-in-law Kivarria Dye Waters, and great-grandson Keiser.

During the Korean War while her husband was in the Airforce Stella worked for The Encyclopedia Americana as a Proof-reader in Washington DC.

Visitation with the family will begin on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 1:30 pm until service time at 2:30 pm. All services held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN. 37221.
