Stephen Earl Biga of Nashville, TN joined Our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 16, 2014. His life on Earth ended due to central nervous system cancer at the age of 61.
Steve was born in Milwaukee, WI on Friday, June 13, 1952 to George and Sylvia Biga. He grew up modestly but happily with his siblings David, Thomas, James, Carol, Joan, and Elaine. He married Lenys Ann Weyker on May 8, 1971 in Port Washington, WI. He spent his whole life caring for others, professionally as a respiratory therapist and familially as a generously loving father, grandfather, and uncle.
Steve is survived by his wife Lenys Ann Biga (Nashville, TN); his children Anthony Thomas Biga (St Louis, MO), Andrea Rose Hart (Nashville, TN), William Knight Hart (Nashville, TN), and Robyn Marie Biga (Nashville, TN); his grandchildren Madeline Miller Hart (Nashville, TN) and William Knight Hart II (Nashville, TN); his siblings David Biga (Milwaukee, WI), James Biga (Milwaukee, WI), and Elaine Biga (Milwaukee, WI); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
Steve was predeceased by his siblings Thomas Biga, Carol Wisniewski, and Joan Luedtke.
Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2014 at 6:00 - 8:00 PM at St Henry Catholic Church with a rosary prayer to follow. Funeral mass will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St Henry Catholic Church with a reception to follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
