Steven Kelly Riggan, passed from this life on August 27, 2018.

He is preceded in death by parents, Frances Elizabeth Robinson Riggan & Leonard Eugene Riggan, Sr.; son, Kevin Joseph Riggan; brother, Leonard Eugene Riggan, Jr.. He is survived by his wife, Leland Riggan; children, Meg Johnson (Dave), Kelly Riggan (Jana Collier), Paul Riggan (Shannon) and Patrick Riggan (Lauren Kientz); six grandchildren.

Born in Nashville on July 28, 1944 Steve attended West End High School graduating in 1962. He obtained a BS in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee at Nashville in 1973.

Steve served his country in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1973. After his service Steve became a partner in Medical Management Services. Steve left the Medical Management field to work full time with his wife, Leland, in their family business, Dessert Designs where he designed and decorated custom occasion and wedding cakes and managed the daily business operations. More than anything else, Steve was devoted to his wife and children.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 31 from 9:30 to 10:30 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3001 Belmont Blvd. The service will immediately follow at 10:30. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Cemetery at 2:30.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alive Hospice, Nashville or Christ the King School, 3000 Belmont Blvd., Nashville.
