Stuart MacKenzie Harrison, 89, of Nashville TN, passed away at his home in Park Manor on July 25. Stuart now joins June, his wife of 58 years, who passed away in 2007. He is survived by daughters Linnea (Ken) Folger of Nashville and Susan (Charles) Mahon of Naples, FL, son James (Heidi) Harrison of Henderson, NV, 6 grandsons and 3 great grandsons.

Stuart was an exceptionally loving father and husband for whom family always came first. He enjoyed talking with and getting to know just about anyone he happened upon. Stuart enjoyed traveling, especially to Scotland. He was an active member of each church to which he and his family belonged, and he particularly enjoyed singing in the choir.

A WWII- and Korean War-era veteran, Stuart followed a distinguished 30-year career in the federal government with a second career in international sales at Insulgard Corporation, a manufacturer of physical security equipment.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Park Manor and Stuart's physicians, Dr. Jan Price and Dr. Lisa Mendes, for their exceptional and loving care.

A memorial service will be held August 13, 1 pm at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 Sneed Rd., Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the music program at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
