Sue Marable Bowman, age 75, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL., passed away February 24, 2018, at Sacred Heart Hospital Miramar Beach-San Destin, FL. She was born on January 29, 1943, to James R. and Merle Marable, in Memphis, TN. She grew up with three siblings, and is survived by all: James R. Marable, Jr. (Judy), Rebecca Creed Berwick, and Dwight Marable (Linda).

Along with her siblings, she is survived by her loving husband James H. Bowman, and her son Robert S. McDow IV (Janet), along with extended family members.

Mrs. Bowman was a polio survivor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute to her favorite charity, Shriners Hospital for Children, who were instrumental in helping Mrs. Bowman's recovery during the early stages of her polio.

A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home at 2:30pm. Visitation will be held on the same day, starting at 12:30pm, which will last until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
