Terry Lynn Baxter, age 71, of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away on June 13, 2023.

Terry (Dad, Pappy, B) was born on May 4, 1952, to Ben Baxter and Josephine ‘Josie’ McCoig Baxter. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George E. Baxter

Terry is survived by his wife of 40 years, Leeanne Powers Baxter, his son Benjamin Powers Baxter, daughter in law, Sara Ann McNelis and most beloved granddaughter, Charlotte Mae Baxter, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Terry was raised in White Pine, Tennessee. He was a carpenter and loved tinkering and fixing. He had a passion for the Great Smoky Mountains and considered them his heaven on earth. He loved buying and selling, bartering was his game. He was a great storyteller and never missed the chance to tell them again and again. He was a most devoted family man and loyal friend.

A celebration of Terry’s life and legacy will be held at a later date.
