A native of Montana, Thomas George Fox was born on September 2, 1956 in Laurel, MT to Beryl Crichton Fox and Daniel George Fox.
Tom was the youngest of three children, his sister Cassandra (Sandy) and brother Daniel Jay (DJ).
Tom grew up in Billings, Montana and graduated from Billings Senior High School in 1975. There he met his future wife Belinda Thompson.
Following graduation, Tom enlisted in the United States Air Force. He always had a fascination with jets and airplanes and the mechanics behind them. While in the Air Force he trained as a Missile Communications Specialist becoming a specialized electrician.
While on active duty, he married his high school sweetheart, Belinda, on December 26, 1975. The couple lived in Texas while Tom completed his service and then was stationed in Great Falls, Montana where he completed his active duty commitments. Tom loved his country and served it proudly.
Tom and his growing family moved to Wyoming in 1980 where he began his work with the Wyoming Refinery and Pipeline as an electrician. There he spent over 30 years dedicating himself to his profession as a ‘pipeliner', serving the organization as supervisor and electrician. He raised two daughters, Rachel and Valerie in Newcastle, Wyoming from early preschool through their graduations.
In 2013, Tom retired and he and his wife relocated to Kingston Springs, Tennessee to be closer to their grandchildren.
At an early age, Tom took pleasure in the vast Montana landscapes and skylines. He enjoyed boating, hiking, fishing and camping as this was how his family spent their free time. Until the day he died, Tom enjoyed his time outdoors working in his yard, riding motorcycles, or on an off-road adventure with his family.
Secure in his walk with the Lord, he grew up in the First United Methodist Church in Billings. He participated in youth group, was married in, and baptized both of his daughters at that church. He attributed his many blessings to the Lord and was thankful for the grace of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Tom is survived by his wife, Belinda, of 41 years, his daughters Rachel and Valerie, his grandchildren Lillian, Dylan, Jonah, and Daphne, and his sister Sandy and brother DJ.
