MILAM, Thomas W.-age 65, passed away after a courageous battle with ALS. He grew up in Clarksville, TN and was a graduate of Austin Peay State University. He was employed by the State of Tennessee for 40 years. He worked in various departments over the years but the most recent was the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Betty Milam; son, Jonathan Milam; daughter, Jennifer Unutmaz Derya; grandson, Jimmy Roberson; mother, Mary Holmes and brother Scott Holmes. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
