Thomas Eugene Petty, age 88, of Fairview went to be with his heavenly father Monday, May 11, 2020. He was born December 10, 1931 in Nashville, TN to the late Thomas and Luna (Phillips) Petty. Thomas is also preceded in death by his wife, Adelaide (McCord) Petty; sister Bobbie Spain; granddaughter, Calista Petty; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Petty.
He is survived by his son, Danny Petty (Rita); son, Dale Petty; son, Dennis Petty (Wanda); son, Donald Petty (April); granddaughter, Amanda Petty (Michael Ray); great-granddaughter, Alysa Ray; grandson, Michael Petty; grandson, Mark Petty; granddaughter, Kara Petty; and grandson Hayden Petty.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2020, in the garden of Everlasting Life at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with Brother Danny Tidwell officiating.
