RAMEY, Jr. Thomas C. – Age 83 passed away at his home November 9, 2012. Mr. Ramey was a loving husband and father, dedicated to his family and friends. Before relocating to Tennessee, he was a successful business owner of H.R. Welding Supply Company in Orlando, FL also serving in the community as President of the Rotary Club and Director of Barnett Bank. An active member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, Mr. Ramey was a devout Christian who loved people and loved to laugh. He was a committed family man, sports enthusiast, and golfer. Mr. Ramey is preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Thomas Ramey, Sr., first wife, Marilyn C. Ramey, and sister, Sarah Louise Davis. He is survived by his loving wife, Hallie B. Ramey; children, Julie Vero Bob, Frank Ramey Linda, and Cindy Fletcher Phil; grandchildren, Taylor, Emily, Clay, Bryce and Bailey Ramey, Natalie Swann Stokes, Justin and Grace Vero, Morgan Woodard Jason, Leah Brown Travis and Laura Kelly; great-grandchildren, Campbell Swann, Jonathan Brown; and niece, Lou Ann Moore David. Visitation for Mr. Ramey will be Monday, November 12th at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 Johnny Cash Pky. Hendersonville from 3 – 7 PM & Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, 9:45 – 10:45 AM, with services at 11:00 AM. Mr. Ramey's grandsons will serve as pall bearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church.
