Preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Frances Thompson.

He is survived by his wife, Terri Green Thompson; his son, Tracy Thompson; brothers, Ronny (Chryl) and Gary (Nancy); several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1964. Retired Brentwood Police Sergeant and owner of Brentwood Patrol and Security. He worshipped at Hosanna Church in Portland, TN.

Visitation will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Visitation also Saturday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
