Van Tankersley Irwin, Jr. died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence in Nashville, Tennessee; he was 95 years old.
Mr. Irwin, predeceased by his parents Van T. Sr. and Goldie Giddens Irwin, is survived by his wife of 55 years Mrs. JoAnn Irwin; son Steve Irwin (Christy); daughter Vicki McArthur (Tommy); Grandchildren Patrick and Nathan Irwin, and Rob and Libby McArthur.
Mr. Irwin, a Vanderbilt University Alumnus, was a Navy Veteran serving in WWII, and the proud owner of WNAH Radio, 1360 AM since 1949.
Pall Bearers will be Rob McArthur, Patrick Irwin, Tony Cappuccilli, Frank Burns, Don Yancy, Jr., Don Yancy III, Nathan Irwin, and Tommy McArthur.
Honorary Pall Bearers will be Parker Holder, Robert Cowan, Dr. Charles Gill, and Hoyt Carter.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., and Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m., with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. David Tiller officiating; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. www.harpethhills.com
