Mr. Van A. Snow, age 82, of Nashville went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, August 5, 2019. He was born February 3, 1937 in Nashville to the late George and Irma (West) Snow. Van is also preceded in death by his brother, George Snow; and sisters, Margie Harris, Doris Seay and Linda Nolan.

Van was an avid outdoorsman his entire life. He loved hunting and in his younger years he enjoyed tournament fishing. Van coached softball for many years and took his team to Nationals. He worked for Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency for 32 years until his retirement in 2000. Van dearly loved his family but especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Snow; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jeff Shelby; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Bobby Shelby; grandson and wife, Ryan and Taylor Shelby; granddaughters, Chelsea Nahrwold and Gracie Shelby.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2019. Interment will follow in Harpeth Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
