Virgil Keith Galbreath, age 98. Fairview, TN.

Virgil was born in Medaryville, IN on November 9, 1918 to the late Charles and Bertha Kelly Galbreath.

Virgil was preceded in death by his loving wife of 69 years, Iva Jewel Galbreath.

Survivors include son, Kregg (Sherri) Galbreath; sister, Darlene (Kent) Eichstaedt; brothers, Charles Galbreath & Leon (Mary) Galbreath; 2 grandchildren, Sarah & Amanda Galbreath; 2 great -grandchildren, Devin & Dylan Proctor; along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Virgil served as a medical staff sergeant in the US Army during WWII, participating in actions in Sicily and North Africa, where he received the Bronze Star for meritorious service.

Virgil was a life-long member of the Lions Club and VFW.

A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
