Virginia Pierce, age 81 of Nashville, passed away February 10, 2017 at Green Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born December 29, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Hix and Grace Viola Rose Rutherford.

Throughout life, Virginia remained active. She worked as a cashier for many years and spent time playing bingo and creating ceramics. She was a member of the Eastern Star and attended worship services as her health would allow.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Lorie Kimbrough of Kingston Springs; two grandchildren: Joshua (Ashley) Kimbrough and Jessica (Tim Foor) Kimbrough; and a beautiful great-granddaughter: Gracie Noelle Foor.

Virginia's family will gather with friends for visitation on Tuesday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Garden of Prayer at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
