GREEN, Wanda Ann – Age 65 of Hendersonville passed away surrounded by her family at home. Mrs. Green was a friendly woman with a big heart. She was a talkative woman who enjoyed serving others. Her passions in life were Cooking, Sewing, playing with her pets, Fat Moe and Precious, but most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Green was a faith based woman that attended church at Nashville Road Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her parents, Emmette Earl Sawyer and Verda Mable Sullivan Sawyer; sister-in-law, Joyce Sawyer; brother-in-law, George Edging. Survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, William W. Green, children, Wendy Green Benny & Winifred "Fred" Finney; grandchildren, Benjamin Green, Joshua Green, Jessica Green & Alex Finney; great-grandchildren, Aryonna Green, Callum Green, Dax Green, & Evelyn "Evie" Jenkins; sister, Barbara Edging; brothers, Emmette Carlton Sawyer & Wayne Sawyer Donna; several nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. The family would like to convey a special thank you to Alive Hospice for the love and care giving to Mrs. Green. A Life Celebration will be held 1pm Friday April 20, 2012 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4 – 8pm Thursday & one hour prior to service on Friday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alive Hospice or Nashville Road Church of Christ.
