Wanda "June" Metcalf passed from this life June 21, 2014 at the age of 80, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was a resident of Bartlett, Tennessee for many years.
June was born February 14, 1934 in Honobia, Oklahoma to Roy and JoElla Atchley. She had four brothers and four sisters. She was an independent and determined woman who tried always to be grateful. She loved deeply. June and her husband, Joe Metcalf, worked many ears promoting Metcalf's All natural Seasoning and their BBQ restaurant in middle and west Tennessee.
June felt her greatest achievement was in raising her three daughters. She attended Chapel Hill Church of Christ, White Bluff, Tennessee.
June is survived by her daughters, Debra Martin (and her husband Earl) of Kingston Springs, Tennessee,; Dianna Martin (and her husband Brian) of Moundsville, WV. She left six grandchildren - Darrell martin (and his wife Merry), David Martin (and his wife Jennifer), Emily Martin, Julia Domino (and her husband Kevin), Michael Games, and Benjamin Games. She had five great grandchildren - Lucas Domino, Allie Domino, Jackson Martin, Audrey martin, and Abbey Peach. She has three remaining siblings in Texas - Geraldine Davenport (and her husband Travis), Don Atchley, and Joan Dailing. June had a whole host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe Metcalf, three brothers - Roy Atchley, Kenneth Atchley, and Larry Atchley; and two sisters - Helen Eubanks and Jeanette Kostka.
