Wayne Carlton Vaughn of Old Hickory, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 29, 2020; he was 86 years old.
Wayne was born May 7, 1934 to Jesse Dalton Vaughn and Ruby Ann Burklow Vaughn in Nashville, Tennessee. He was proud of his service to the country in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Ford Motor Company, and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Madison, Tennessee.
He will be missed by his wife, Faye June Tucker Vaughn; daughter, Pamela Kimble (Steven); sons, Gary and Timothy (Pam) Vaughn; grandsons, Timmy, Tony, Justin, and Joshua; step granddaughter, DJ; great grandsons, Aiden and Joseph; step great granddaughter, Kelsey; sisters, Rosalyn Moss (Donald), Sharon Stone (Dennis), and Carmen Adkisson; brothers, Dalton, Randall (Susanna), and Wesley (Joyce); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Dalton Vaughn and Ruby Ann Burklow Vaughn; sister, Joyce Hardiman; brothers, David, Billy and Douglas.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 9, 10:00 - 11:00, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00; all at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home; 9090 Hwy 100 Nashville, Tennessee, 37221. Burial will follow at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221.
