William Grandin Burke Jr, age 76 of Lavergne, TN surrounded by his loving family, went home to be with the lord on Saturday, July 19, 2014.

Mr. Burke was born on March 9, 1938 in Neptune, NJ to the late William Sr. & Louise Burke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a loving grandson, Eric Burke.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Grace Burke; children, William (DeLinda)Burke III, Walter (Michelle) Burke, Wayne (Lisa) Burke, Gladys (Michael) Martin & JoanAnn (Richard) Goeringer; 11 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home where a celebration of William's life will be conducted at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
