JONES, William R. "Bill" Age 78, Fairview, January 6, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents, James T. and Bertha Jones; brothers, Lloyd Buttrey, Vernon and Tom Jones; sisters, Edith Sexton and Cecil Jeffries; and many in-laws and nieces and nephews. Survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, Catherine "Cat" Sullivan Jones; daughter, Jan Bill Neser; brother, Ewell Flora Jones; sisters-in-law, Hazel and Dean Jones; brother-in-law, Eldridge Sexton; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great, great-nieces and nephews. A life celebration service will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with Travis Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Benny, Jeff, Micah, Mark, Barry and Brian Sullivan, Dale Burnett and Larry Buttrey. All his many friends, sports associates, members of B.J.'s softball team, daughter's softball Purple Team and nieces and nephews will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Sullivan Cemetery, contact family for information.
