McCLAIN, William M., Sr. – Age 87 of Nashville, passed away March 5, 2012. Mr. McClain is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances McClain; parents, Lena and Allen McClain; sister, Louise Huff. He is survived by his children, Teresa McConnell Shane, Marti McClain, Eileen Schweinhart Bruce, Jim McClain Kim, 9 grandchildren, 5 great grand children, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pall bearers will be Jim McClain, Shane McConnell, Bruce Schweinhart, Steven Schweinhart, Brian Schweinhart, Jake McClain, Andrea Chiavarini, Gray Egbert, and Mike McClain. Visitation will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4 – 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 535 Sneed Road. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St, Nashville, TN 37203.
