Preceded in death by his wife, Teresa McNeil; parents, William and E. Louise McNeil; brother, James McNeil.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo McNeil; children, Natasha Young (Tim), Benjamin McNeil (Kate), Carolyn Sharp (Danny) and Brett Parker (Donna); grandchildren, Sam Young, Abigail Young, Evelyn McNeil, Nikki Parker and Ben Novotnak; sisters, Barbara Anderton (Jim), Brenda Reed (Jimmy); brother, David McNeil (Lynn).

He was in the Marine Corp. and Army Reserve Tennessee 267th in Dickson. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and a volunteer Fireman in Fairview. He was a member of South Harpeth Church of Christ.

Visitation will be on Thursday, June 4, 2020 1:30-4:30 p.m. and Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Sam Young, Brett Parker, Tim Young, Danny Sharp, Brandon Myers, Daniel Myers, Keith Myers and Jeff Stevens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Jackson, Donnie Kennedy, Terry Story, Mark Tidwell and Stanley Keith Tidwell.
