William G. "Caddy" Meadows, Age 81, December 30, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Roxie Meadows; daughter, Susan Beth Meadows Burns; grandson, Brian Guy Meadors. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Lillie Wilma Hawks Meadows; daughter, Cheryl Meadows Meadors; granddaughter, Jennifer Meadors, Grandson, William T. Hows III; great-granddaughter, Roxanne Meadors; sister, Marjorie Dorris Bramble.
He was a 25 year veteran of the Metro Nashville Police Department retiring as a Lieutenant. He was a 32 degree Mason, Order of the Scottish Rite and Shriner in the Al Menah Temple. He was owner of the Lucky Buck Cattle Ranch and built three homes in the Bellevue area. In retirement, he enjoyed fishing on his houseboat, "Caddy Shack" and was a Tennessee Titans season tickets holder from the inaugural season in Nashville.
A visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2016 and 11 a.m. -12 p.m. on Monday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, January 4 at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
