William "Pee Wee" Moore, Jr., passed away on February 11, 2024, in Dickson, TN. He was born on October 5, 1952, in his hometown of Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by his parents, William "Billy" Moore, Sr., and Gail Borden Rader

Survived by his loving wife of almost 52 years Jana Moore; children William "Bubba" Moore, III., Stacy (Jesse) Tipping; grandson Michael William Peyton Tipping; sister, Debra Ann (Larry) Baker; brother Harold Dean (Nancy) Moore; sister-in-law, Pauletta "Pauline" Groves, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones. 

Pee Wee led a fulfilling life with many accomplishments and touched the hearts of those who knew him. He was self-employed for many years at William Moore and Sons as a plasterer in swimming pools.

Pee Wee had a unique ability to bring laughter to everyone around him. Known as a stand-up comedian without a stage, Pee Wee effortlessly found humor in everyday life situations and had a knack for livening up any gathering. He loved being a jokester and enjoyed picking at people with an underlying warmth that made everyone feel loved.

Pee Wee had a deep love for the beach, especially Orange Beach. Sports were another passion; he was an Alabama Football fan ("Roll Tide!") and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He was also known for grilling the best hamburgers in town and never being caught without his sunglasses on top of his head.

A Memorial Gathering will be held to celebrate the life of Pee Wee on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 4:00pm ~ 8:00pm at The Pavilion at Harpeth Hill 9090 Highway 100 Nashville, TN 37221

Pee Wee Moore was a kind-hearted soul who left a mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His infectious laughter, genuine care, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all. May his memories bring comfort, and may his legacy continue to inspire kindness, laughter, and love in the hearts of all who carry it forward.
