William Braxton Williams, Jr.- Age 94, December 6, 2017.

He was an E-5 Tech Sergeant and served in WWII in the Battle of the Bulge. He received two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars. He taught at Columbia State Community College for 23 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Williams; children, Jim Braxton Williams and Denise Williams; parents, William Braxton Williams, Sr. and Mattie Thelma Williams.

He is survived by his children, David Williams and Rachel Goad; grandchildren, Cristie Treneff (Alex) and Codie Goad (Jared Martin); great-grandson, William Wyatt Martin; step-granddaughters, Tiffany Cooper and Tabitha Daniels; sister, Ruth Lilley.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
