Wilma May Conatser, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at home with family.
She was born in Obion County, Tennessee, to James Otho and Daisy Bell Jones Jennings.
She is survived by daughters Sandy and Janet Conatser; sister Mary Thompson; nieces Eydie Cole, Terry Bickel, Jeannie Thomas, Susan Lovell, Julie Lovell; and nephew Ron Lovell. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harold Lee Conatser; her parents; brother, William Jennings; and sister, Lola Nell Lovell.
Wilma graduated from Cohn High School and worked for local business, eventually retiring from the National Automobile Association. Friends and family were her priority. She loved to camp and travel and visited most of the US states and national parks with her husband, Harold. She was a creative homemaker, skilled seamstress and needlework artist. She loved playing bridge with friends and would never turn down a competitive game of Scrabble, Yatze or other challenge.
Visitation with the family from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2016 will be followed by a chapel service officiated by the Reverend Raye Nell Dyer at 4:00 pm at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN.
